Lucknowi Chikankari

Chikan (چکن‎) is a traditional embroidery style from Lucknow, India. Literally translated, the word means embroidery. Believed to have been introduced by Nur Jehan, the wife of Mugal emperor Jahangir, it is one of Lucknow's best known textile decoration styles.
